Analytical Chemist needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in Richmond, Virginia.
This position is for a major pharmaceutical company and requires a Bachelor of Science degree in an applicable scientific discipline with at least 3 years of experience in a related scientific field.
Key Responsibilities
- The primary job function is to execute technical strategies in analytical chemistry focused on the delivery of innovation in the Consumer Healthcare network. This role is familiar with aspects of analytical method development and various detection technologies. This role is recognized as having a strong knowledge of Analytical chemistry. Product/formulation development experience is a plus.
- Will perform varied aspects of scientific disciplines such as separation sciences, organic chemistry, spectroscopy.
- Develop methods and conducts testing of dietary supplements and drug products in development with rapid turn-around of results to facilitate agile product development.
- Learn formulation development.
- Work in product development with supervision and training, as necessary.
- BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, Nutritional, or related science with at least 3 years of experience in related scientific field.
- Experience with Empower or other LIMS system required.
Contract: 12 months with possibility of extensions and/or conversion.
Salary:$39.76 per hour, W2
